The IWCM training modules can be taken individually or as part of a Certified program resulting in the award of a Certified Warranty Chain Management Professional (CWCMP). An award of a CWCMP can be obtained if a person takes the individual IWCM modules as part of a certified program of 120 hours of formal training which comprises the following elements: 1 - Successful completion of the 5 compulsory elements, W101-W105 comprising 48 hours of training. 2 - Completion of a further 32 hours of elective courses from within the W200 series. 3 - Successful completion of a Project baesd case study of 40 hours. Completion of all 3 stages above is required to meet the criteria for entry submission for the IWCM Certification examination. Award of the IWCM Certification will be given upon successful completion of the examination. Below is a pictorial representation of the certification program.
The IWCM intends to offer the certificatation program in early 2011. IWCM training taken before launch of the CWCMP program will count towards CWCMP credits.
